I have taught for 20 years in Inner City schools. My experience is across all phases, Early Years Foundation Stage to Year 6.
From 2007 - 2010 I worked as a Teaching and Learning Consultant for the Royal Borough of Greenwich. My focus was school improvement and developing strong outcomes for children through an innovative curriculum.
In 2010 I moved to Cardwell Primary School as Deputy Headteacher and am now Headteacher. I have been through 2 outstanding Ofsteds there and continue to drive school improvement and creating quality enrichment for children.
In September 2016 I was appointed Executive Headteacher at Notre Dame Catholic Primary School and in 2017, Executive Headteacher at Eglinton.
I have high expectations of staff, children and the community within my schools. I am uncompromising in my desire to do the best for all children. I have a love of literature and will always read children's literature to ensure the school is evolving with new author choice and new styles of writing.

I have experience in the education sector as a Finance and Systems Controller of over 10 years. Previously an analyst in management consultancy and business manager expanding mobile telecom services, I am currently working on starting a business enterprise. A sports lover who plays cricket in the Kent league & Tennis on the hill, my children attended Eglinton's Foundation Stage and Under 3s.
I became a governor as I am a big believer in education, equality and social justice. I want to take an active interest in my children’s education and help in whatever way I can to ensure that their early, foundation and formative years are fun-filled in good standard facilities dispersing quality learning.

I have 15 years’ experience working in the post-16 education sector. I am currently a teacher of Travel and Tourism at an East London sixth form college. I am committed to providing high quality of education in a diverse and inclusive setting. I have lived in the area for 8 years and am interested in contributing to the local community. Eglinton School was the first choice for my children’s education because of the broad curriculum offer and the enthusiasm and ambition of the staff. I became a Governor in order to be involved in the development of the school in line with the needs of the local community and to ensure that the standard of education keeps improving.

I have been a teacher for the last 12 years of my life and, after working in a local mainstream secondary school, I have spent the last 8 years working in hospitals teaching children who need inpatient care. I am also a parent of two children who currently attend Eglinton. Education is the most powerful tool you can empower children with and a good education is about so much more than knowledge recall and high grades. From my very short time being involved with Eglinton I feel very privileged to be able to be involved in both the school running, as a governor, and in sending my children to be educated there.
