Can you mindfully colour in a Mandala?
Mandalas are usually circular geometric patterns. Some people find the drawing and colouring of a mandala to be a form of relaxation (I do!). As you focus on colouring in the patterns neatly, you relax and your mind grows quiet. You are then able to enter into a calm, mindful space which is great for your brain and benefits the nervous system.
So, find a nice, peaceful place in your house, this could be sat at a table or laying on the floor. I also like to play some relaxing music in the background. Use your favourite colour pens, pencils or crayons to colour in your chosen mandala. Remember your mandala is unique and beautiful just like you! How did you feel whist you were colouring?
